The Great Spectacular is Dixie Dregs' original 1975 demo tape, pressed on vinyl by the band and distributed locally in limited quantities. Yet The Great Spectacular also functions as a Greatest Hits collection of sorts, debuting tracks which would be professionally recorded across Dixie Dregs' classic 1977-1979 Capricorn Records albums, as well as during guitarist/band leader Steve Morse's stint in Kansas.

The four surviving original Dixie Dregs members will be touring beginning in April 2024, with Dream Theater's Jordan Rudess joining the band on keyboards. Original copies of The Great Spectacular are rare collectors' items. This reissue will be pressed on white vinyl, to match the cover art. Will appeal to existing Dixie Dregs and Steve Morse fans plus fans who know Morse from Deep Purple and Kansas, or who are fans of Rod Morgenstein through Winger.

Restored and remastered from the original tapes, the soundtrack to Storie di Vita e Malavita is being released for the first time on vinyl! Set in Milan, mostly in darkly and oppressively photographed suburbs, the film is the tale of some young girls who end up in prostitution, both on the street and uptown. The music, composed by Ennio Morricone, has a vivid and dizzying flavor. Pressed on green vinyl LP for Record Store Day.

Ernest Tubb’s "World Broadcast Recordings 1944-1945" is a compilation of the country pioneer’s radio transcription contributions for the World Program Service . Everything But The Girl recorded four tracks at the BBC’s famous Maida Vale studios. “Run A Red Light,” “Single,” and “When You Mess Up,” were first broadcast on Gideon Coe’s BBC 6 Music show, whilst “Nothing Left To Lose,” was first heard on Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show. This 12” EP is cut at 45 RPM on 180g black vinyl and includes an 8-page photobook, for Record Store Day 2024.

The first Austin Psych Fest was held in March 2008, and expanded to a 3 day event the following year. The event quickly developed into an international destination for psychedelic rock fans, with lineups spanning the fringes of indie rock, from up-and-comers to vintage legends, and capped off with headline performances from co-founders The Black Angels, along with Tame Impala, The Flaming Lips, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Thee Oh Sees (in various forms) and many more. To celebrate Gene Clark’s landmark 1974 record, No Other, turning 50, 4AD are proud to be releasing the album’s session tracks for the first time on vinyl. Mixed from their original multi-track tapes and spread over two discs, these 18 alternative versions taken from No Other’s recording sessions at LA’s infamous Village Recorder studio offer a fascinating insight into the making of this timeless album. Housed in a mirror board, gatefold sleeve and containing photos from the 1974 recording sessions as well as comprehensive song notes, this special edition is being pressed on double black vinyl with the first disc containing the best / most interesting take of each track and the second disc being every first full take.

Beyond his achievements as a founding member of the Byrds, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gene Clark was truly one of the most prolific singer/songwriters of the rock era. This album introduces previously unreleased studio sessions from Clark’s pre-Byrds days in 1964 to his 1982 reunion with his former bandmates Chris Hillman and Michael Clarke as Nyteflyte. Since his passing in 1991, many of Gene Clark’s home demo recordings and various live recordings have been released. Actual studio recording sessions were rare and their existence was more rumor than fact until this release. This is essentially an alternative history of Gene Clark’s most productive years as a songwriter. Limited-edition pressing on translucent tan vinyl, packaged in a gatefold sleeve with a 24-page color booklet, album notes and rare photos. This 24-track double LP set had a limited release in 2016 from Sierra Records and is extremely rare.

The first two titles in the RSD exclusive series — Wonderwall Music and Electronic Sound — will be available on Record Store Day in April 2024. Limited to 8,000 units globally and exclusive to Record Store Day, each unit is individually numbered in silver foil and includes an insert reproducing the original artwork.
As a direct result of The Beatles’ keen curiosity about experimental music and other avant-garde artistic expression, Apple Records launched its short-lived Zapple subsidiary in February 1969 as a forum for unfettered sonic exploration, or, as announced at the time, “more freaky sounds.” George’s Electronic Sound and John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions, both released in May 1969, were Zapple’s only releases before it was closed down. Electronic Sound’s cover art, painted by George, depicts his Moog IIIp synthesizer (which was later used on four tracks by The Beatles on their album Abbey Road) with the four modules from which the sound was synthesized. Each side of the Electronic Sound LP featured one exploratory long-form work.

Released in November 1968, George Harrison’s Wonderwall Music was the first solo album released by a member of The Beatles and the first LP to be released by Apple Records. The soundtrack music for director Joe Massot’s debut feature-length film, Wonderwall, the predominantly instrumental album is an intricate, vibrant tapestry of Western rock music and compositions in an Indian classical style.

Since 2014, drummer/bandleader Robert Sput Searight and percussionist Nate Werth have led an incredible collective of musicians brought together as a groove-based funk, hip-hop and jazz group which has amassed a global audience. With Mustard n’Onions, the follow-up to 2018’s critically acclaimed Swagism, the band brings the funk to new levels with a double LP of originals featuring bassist MonoNeon (Prince), keyboardist Dominique Xavier Taplin (Toto), saxophonist/arranger Sylvester “Sly5thave” Onyejiaka and more alongside special guest keyboardist and legend Bernard Wright.

Winter in America is the fifth studio album by American Jazz vocalist Gil Scott-Heron and keyboardist Brian Jackson, released in 1974. The album is produced in a stripped-down fashion, relying on traditional African and R&B sounds. The subject matter deals with the African-American community and inner city in the 1970s. “Scott-Heron’s most Righteous & Provocative” – ALL Music. Vinyl has been out of print and unavailable. This deluxe package includes an OBI side strip, gatefold album jacket with one pocket, original album art work, printed inner sleeve, original record labels and specialty color vinyl.

Gorillaz release a special Record Store Day 2024 Deluxe Edition of their chart-topping 2023 album Cracker Island. The one-off release features six additional tracks that haven’t been available on physical formats before as well as exclusive new album artwork by Jamie Hewlett.

Cracker Island (Deluxe Vinyl Edition) is a limited run release, pressed on colored double vinyl (1 x pink disc, 1 x magenta disc) as well as four bonus tracks (Side C) and two remixes (Side D), plus a double-sided art print by Jamie Hewlett.

The complete show from 10/16/89, available for the first time on 180g, 4LP set with an 8th-side etching in a worldwide limited edition of 10,000.
